Privacy Policy

Solhem is a faith-centred emotional renewal application operated by Josephine Enam Akpabli. In this policy, “Solhem”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the Solhem service and its operator.

Account information

When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, account identifier, and authentication records. We use this information to create and secure your account and allow you to sign in.

Preferences and app activity

We may store your selected journey, reset-time preferences, reset progress, saved truths, favourite declarations, streaks, and completion history. This allows us to personalise Solhem and preserve your progress.

Subscription information

We may receive your subscription product, entitlement status, transaction identifiers, renewal status, and purchase platform. We do not receive your complete payment-card details.

Technical and diagnostic information

We may collect limited technical information such as your device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, error logs, timestamps, and limited network information. This helps us investigate errors and improve Solhem.

Support communications

When you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, journal content, or highly sensitive information through support email.

Private by design

Your journal entries and personal reflections are designed to remain in encrypted storage on your device. Solhem does not intentionally upload the text of your journal entries to its servers.

Access to information stored on your device may also be affected by your device security, operating-system settings, backups, or services controlled by Apple, Google, or your device provider.

We use information to: • Create, manage, and secure your account • Personalise your selected journey and reset experience • Save your settings, progress, favourites, and streaks • Confirm Premium access and restore eligible purchases • Deliver reminders you request • Diagnose crashes and improve performance • Respond to support and account-deletion requests • Meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your journal content for advertising, profiling, or training artificial-intelligence models. Solhem does not display third-party behavioural advertising.

Solhem uses specialist providers to operate the app: • Supabase — account authentication, database, and backend services • RevenueCat — subscription verification and Premium entitlements • Apple App Store and Google Play — purchase and subscription processing • Sentry — technical error and crash diagnostics • Expo — app development, delivery, and notification-related services These providers may process limited information according to their roles and their own privacy terms.

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is used to create some of Solhem’s audio content. Solhem does not intentionally send your account information, journal entries, or personal reflections to ElevenLabs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. These include encrypted network connections, access controls, and encrypted on-device journal storage.

No electronic system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account, preference, and subscription information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Solhem.

We may retain limited records for longer when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial records, or legal obligations. Diagnostic and support records are retained only for a reasonable period connected to their purpose.

You may request account deletion through the Profile area in Solhem. If you cannot access the app, email solhem.support@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.

After verifying your request, we will delete or de-identify personal information controlled by Solhem, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or financial-record obligations.

Deleting your Solhem account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription through the store where it was purchased.

Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Solhem account. If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Solhem is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe someone under 16 has provided personal information to Solhem, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Solhem is operated from Ghana. Some service providers may process information in other countries with different privacy laws. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Solhem, its service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
